I loved visiting and sharing with The Agulhas School of Skills educators on 19 April.

This school is a trade school in Napier and has around 400 learners, many of whom are boarders, coming from the surrounding areas.

The educators are doing an amazing service of providing learners with more than just a school curriculum, and I am convinced we need more of these schools.

Renee delighted in designing, writing, training and delivering the Perivoli Teacher Training Programme for Early Years teachers in Namibia in 2013 (www.perivolischools.com). It is Renee’s belief that to make a sustainable, lasting difference, we need to use what we have in creative hand up ways as opposed to relying on the hand out approach.

Thank you, once more for your Time, Effort and the Positive Energy at the "LightOn" workshop. I wished you could see the work carried out yesterday at the first session. The literacy tutors immediately implemented and applied themselves in their one-one experience. Of course we had loads of smiles and wide-eyed learners enjoying every minute! The principal popped in at the sessions and immediately called me aside and expressed gratitude, when he saw the little one's smiling....

Thank you, thank you for always inspiring and motivating the reading helpers. As you said... They are the MOST IMPORTANT PEOPLE in the Life of our children.
